Basketball Wales and NBN23 join forces to transform basketball through data

Basketball Wales has agreed a partnership with NBN23 to provide digital scoresheets and statistics over the next three years.

The start of the digital revolution in Wales will begin in the Basketball Wales National Leage (BWNL). This season we will be introducing digital scoresheets in the all-Wales competition and over the coming years this with be implemented in all local league competitions.

Over the next three years, Welsh basketball fans can enjoy the best technological experience thanks to NBN23 and its products: INGAME APP, the digital scoresheet that will be used during the games; and, SWISH, the application that brings together all the statistics and data of each game in real-time.

With the INGAME app, Wales will say goodbye to the traditional paper scoresheet, as everything will be quickly and easily recorded and saved digitally. No more crossing out, wasting paper or fear of losing data!

The Swish app will offer all the information you need to keep up to date with the BWNL competition.With it, you can stay informed with: results; experience some live statistics; stay informed about everything that happening in the competition.

Training on the INGAME APP has already taken place with clubs participating in this year’s BWNL competition, and this will be rolled out to all clubs in Wales next season. This partnership will also help make our game more sustainable by eliminating the need for clubs to use traditional paper scoresheets”.
